Art always was our passion and hobby. In our Residence Art Villa Gallery we do art expositions and vernissages Polish and foreign artists whom we want to promote.
This time extraordinary, not in Art Villa but in Polish Consulate in NYC, Mr. Henryk Herec Art Show - " Chopin in Europe".
We decided to"make hay when the sun shines" and send paintings directly to America.
Very polish, lively bright, Heneryk Herec art, nostalgicly remind of paternal roots as well as of Chopin brilliant music.

Constantin Majrowski renders life's fragility and mystery with skill and passion.
It is with boundless pride and joy that we are able to bring you the work of Constantin Majrowski. For sheer variety and artistic prowess, he deserves our artist of the week award. He paints in a number of styles, masterfully adapting his technique to produce work that is simply outstanding. Born in Warsaw, Majrowski has been exhibiting his work for over 30 years, having first perfected his craft creating copies of the great 17th century masters.
His figurative work stands out for its technical excellence and lively atmospherics. A bouquet of flowers is rendered with a dripping sense of splendour. Each individual petal bleeds and lives on the canvas, creating energy and drama within the image. His pictures of women show bodies that move with a dancer's grace across furniture and bedrooms. Perspectives strike away vividly into the distance as shapes and textures both contrast and blend effortlessly. His subjects are dreaming girls being consumed by flowers and slumber, or jaded lovers waiting in continued expectation. Youth and naivety sit alongside the forlorn faces of experience.
When he switches to abstract work he manages to capture the true essence of feelings and moments with skill and passion. Shadowy indigo centres melt into darkness, bordered by the contrasting edges and corners of half realised forms. Electric whites scratch across the choreographed riots of blues. City lights are reflected into the pale nothingness that surrounds them as building shapes amble skywards. His painting contains subtle suggestions of depth and height, radiating from an emotional heart of darkness. He sees that even a choked-up traffic jam contains an aura of fragility. The mysterious qualities of light and season are captured expertly, whether painting the equally intangible qualities of morning and evening, or the pale bliss of a wedding. Majrowski is a painter who makes the craft look easy. His work is contained in many exceptional collections across Europe and America and we are delighted to be able to show his work here.
Name and surname: Katarzyna Łysiak
Born: 14.04.1971
Occupation:
I can’t call myself a professional because I haven’t art education and I don’t have that technical workshop. So, rather be a brush and colour master, I am a dreamer.
My art fascination was always inside me. I used to play, drawing figuratives and adding imaginary elements to it. I liked it and it made me happy. When you're into it you can’t stop and it has to be SOMETHING at the end.
I hope that You will be happier and in better mood after visiting my exposition, if so, I shall be more than in heaven
